About the role

  • Certified Public Accountant managing financial and accounting operations for a well-established service company. Collaborating on strategic growth with a focus on quality and control in Panama City.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management and recording of accounting, financial, and administrative operations
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and control dashboards
  • Supervision of accounting records, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings
  • Coordination of billing processes, vendor payments, and tax obligations
  • Liaison with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions
  • Identification of gaps, process improvements, and updates to internal procedures
  • Technical support and guidance to internal teams on accounting and financial matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of organization, confidentiality, and professional ethics
  • Leadership capability, clear communication, and sound decision-making skills
