About the role

  • Senior Sales Manager gaining Mid-Market and Enterprise clients for data-driven IT services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions in the Modern Data Stack.

Responsibilities

  • You are our external face, responsible for acquiring new clients for our data-driven IT services
  • Independently identify, approach and win new customers in the Mid-Market to Enterprise segment with a focus on data-driven IT services and the Modern Data Stack
  • Conduct needs analyses, presentations and product demonstrations for C-level decision makers and IT leaders
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification through proposal and contract negotiation to successful closing
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and develop bespoke solution approaches together with internal specialist teams (consulting, pre-sales, delivery)
  • Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Consultants to develop tailored value propositions and ensure successful implementation at the client
  • Continuously monitor the market and competitors and provide feedback to the Commercial Growth Team to further develop our portfolio

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in software sales, ideally with the Modern Data Stack
  • Proven track record in developing new business and closing complex consulting and technology projects
  • Desirable technological understanding of the Modern Data Stack (Qlik, Snowflake, Databricks, SAP, Microsoft)
  • Understanding of data-driven business models, data strategy, analytics, data science and AI — from both a management and technology perspective
  • Use-case driven approach
  • Strong ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into innovative solutions
  • Confident executive presence at C-level, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong negotiation capabilities
  • Team player with high self-motivation, a structured working style and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel
