About the role

Responsibilities
- Bring experience and expertise to forward-looking projects
- Advise clients on design and support the technical implementation of IT systems
- Gather technical requirements for IT solutions
- Take on planning, coordination and documentation of implementations
- Resolve technical issues within the team
- Independently evaluate new products and technologies
- Assume technical project leadership for complex IT projects
- Support sustainable documentation and quality assurance
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar) or equivalent vocational training
- Knowledge of virtualization solutions, particularly VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Combine that knowledge with common networking technologies (switching, routing, firewalls, network services)
- Windows Server systems as well as knowledge and experience with various Linux distributions
- Ideally relevant experience in defense-related projects for the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) or interest in safety-/security-critical areas
- Preferably role-specific certifications
- Willingness for personal development with tailored development opportunities
- Analytical mindset, structured and independent working style, team player
- Very good German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
