Responsibilities
You lead and develop the cross-functional “Software Development & AI” team technically, disciplinarily and organizationally, with a clear focus on technical excellence.
You shape the area by defining and establishing shared development standards, methods and best practices.
You contribute content-wise: review concepts and architectures, provide technical guardrails and support your team on complex issues.
You promote professional exchange between software development and data science, create space for joint learning and contribute to the continuous development of the team.
You structure ideation, implementation and quality assurance in close collaboration with our consultants and clients.
You are responsible for resource planning, career development and sustainable skills building within the team.
Requirements
You have a degree in computer science or a comparable technical qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in software development or in the field of artificial intelligence — ideally with interfaces between both areas.
You also have experience leading technical teams, preferably in growing or newly established structures.
You are proficient in core principles of software development, from Clean Code and architectural patterns (e.g. microservices, monoliths, event-driven architecture, domain-driven architecture, RESTful APIs…) to testing strategies and automation techniques.
Ideally, you have experience with both traditional and agile development methodologies and can successfully combine both approaches.
You have a good sense for people leadership, are pragmatic and bring the right level of structure.
You can set priorities, adopt different perspectives and make clear decisions.
Fluent German and good English skills are a matter of course for you.
