About the role

Software Engineer developing scalable cloud solutions for global communications at Infobip. Working on SaaS platform and distributed architectures to enable enterprise communication technologies.

Responsibilities

You will develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot your team services.
You will have full ownership of the code you produce.
You will write well designed, testable, and scalable code by clean code principles.
You will have a general overview and understanding of the interactions and dependencies in the entire system.
You will work autonomously on challenging tasks.
You will grow towards full stack development and for us, this means working primarily on backend development but also expanding your knowledge on working with databases, system design, alerting and monitoring tools and frontend development.
You will work within the agile framework (Scrum, LESS) and have a dedicated Product Manager.
You will participate with your team in agile practices such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
You will give suggestions regarding architecture and service design.
You will expand and improve your knowledge both internally and externally and be a part of the engineering community.

You are a mid or senior professional looking for a high growth challenge.
You have experience working with Java version 1.8 and above.
You have experience with Spring and Spring Boot development.
You have good knowledge and understanding of object-oriented principles.
You have good knowledge and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
You have experience working with concurrent and multi-tier applications.
You are recognizing the value of code-review and experience with code testing (unit, integration).
You have a good understanding of RESTful services.
Nice to have qualifications: You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary or similar.
You have an understanding of databases and data management tools like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka or others.
You have experience with JavaScript (React, Vue.js, Node.js).
You have worked with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Slack.
You are ready to adopt, implement or propose new technologies.
You have experience in technologies such as Kotlin, Go, Groovy, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus or others.
