About the role
- Associate role in IT Infrastructure installing, maintaining, and improving site's operating environment. Focus on reliability, security, and troubleshooting user-reported problems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the site's operating environment.
- Ensure ongoing reliability, performance and security of the infrastructure.
- Monitor and up keep operating environments; respond to incidents & problems, deployment of new technologies.
- Design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware.
- Troubleshoot problems as reported by users.
- Support Web access and telephony services.
- Acquire, replace and decommission related equipment, software and services.
Requirements
- Entry level to 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
- Two or Three Year Community College Diploma or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment.
- Basic fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
- Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes.
- Fundamental knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes.
