About the role
- Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer at IMAGO focusing on automation and infrastructure improvements. Building reliable infrastructure and leading CI/CD optimization in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable infrastructure across Hetzner Baremetal and Cloud environments.
- Champion modern DevOps practices such as automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability.
- Support both Windows and Linux setups, and help us drive the transition towards a Linux-centric infrastructure.
- Lead the evolution and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and automated software delivery.
- Extend and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Zabbix, Sentry, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar) to provide visibility and reliability for critical services.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable seamless, automated deployments and efficient incident response.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on DevOps tools and practices to colleagues across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in maintaining production-critical infrastructure
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, with a solid understanding of networking and security best practices
- Practical experience operating hypervisors (Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.)
- Strong focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, or similar) and modern software delivery automation
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Zabbix, Sentry, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar)
- Experience with message queue and streaming systems (e.g., Apache Kafka) in production environments
- Ability to automate tasks using Bash/Python scripts and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of security best practices in networking, systems, and cloud environments.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
