About the role
- Data Science Manager leading high-level technical AI projects and mentoring a team of data scientists. Responsible for client projects, technical advice, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the technical and functional design of diverse projects, including Generative AI (Agents, LLM/VLM, NLP, RAG).
- Ensure quality, schedule and budget while maintaining a trusted relationship with our clients’ operational teams.
- Lead technical consulting engagements (audits, AI strategies, architecture) and participate in technology monitoring.
- Contribute to company growth by drafting robust technical proposals and participating in client presentations.
- Support a team of Data Scientists (up to 5 people), coach them and promote their development by aligning their objectives.
Requirements
- You hold an engineering degree with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- You have significant experience in generative AI (chatbots, NLP, LLM/VLM, RAG).
- You have an excellent understanding of technical concepts (models, architecture, data, evaluation) and of common AI and generative AI tasks and use cases.
- You have solid project management experience (scoping, budgeting, staffing, etc.).
- You have directly led a highly technical Data Science team.
