About the role
- Supports planning and organization of research projects in Human AI-Interaction at Fraunhofer Institute. Involves interdisciplinary teamwork and various research methodologies.
Responsibilities
- You support the planning and organization of research projects in Human AI Interaction through thematic literature reviews and study design.
- You design and create questionnaires, workshop concepts, interview guides, (results) presentations, and written materials for the various target audiences in our research projects.
- You accompany us in the field and assist with conducting interviews and workshops.
- You perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of research results and support documentation.
- You prepare data for visualizations and contribute to the conception and implementation of interactive dashboards and reports (e.g., using Python, Power BI, or similar).
Requirements
- You are studying Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Human–Computer Interaction, Business/Media Informatics, or a comparable program, preferably at Master's level.
- You have initial experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection and analysis and are familiar with SPSS and/or R and, ideally, MAXQDA.
- You have basic programming knowledge, preferably in Python, and ideally first experience in data visualization and dashboards (e.g., matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Power BI, or similar).
- Ideally, you have already worked with online survey tools and collaboration/visualization tools.
- You work independently, are flexible, and reliable.
- You have excellent English and fluent German language skills.
- You are interested in a long-term collaboration (at least 6 months).
