About the role

  • Eventmanager at Fraunhofer managing and executing various internal and external events across Europe. Requires relevant experience in event management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end planning, organization, execution and follow-up of Europe-wide and cross-institute events
  • Close coordination with FMD institutes, project partners, funding bodies and other EU entities
  • Support the team with additional communications tasks
  • Organize internal meetings, EU roadshows, trade fairs and conferences, as well as technical meetings and technology workshops

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in event management, marketing or communication studies
  • Relevant professional experience in event management (EU experience desirable)
  • Experience planning, organizing and delivering in-person events as well as digital event formats
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, make considered decisions, and enjoy working in a team
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows or events (including weekends if necessary) within Germany and across Europe
