End User Compute Engineer delivering Microsoft 365 services and improving workplace technology in Liverpool. Supporting end-user compute incidents within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
Build, maintain, and deploy standardised endpoint images and configurations
Support and maintain patching activity across the internal estate, ensuring compliance targets are met
Act as a technical escalation point for complex end user compute incidents
Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures, build documentation, and knowledge articles
Support secure onboarding and offboarding of users and devices
Work closely with Service Delivery, Platform, Security, and Wintel teams to resolve issues and improve user experience
Assist with governance, risk, and compliance activities relating to internal IT services
Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
Experience with endpoint imaging, deployment, and configuration management
Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience supporting patch management and compliance
PowerShell scripting experience (or willingness to develop further)
Experience working in an internal IT or workplace technology environment
