About the role
- Senior Golang Engineer architecting high-performance systems for fraud detection in global money transfers. Working in a team focused on enhancing security and compliance in financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize backend microservices for real-time transaction processing
- Enhance fraud detection systems using machine learning
- Integrate with third-party verification providers for KYC and transaction monitoring
- Scale our cloud-native platform on AWS (EKS, Kafka, SQS) with robust observability
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to improve fraud signals
- Own the full development lifecycle from design to incident response
Requirements
- 4+ years of production Golang experience (microservices, concurrency)
- Strong background in cloud-native systems (AWS, Kubernetes or other)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed systems
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, fintech, or compliance is a plus
- Strong communication skills (English B2+)
