About the role
- Senior Fullstack Engineer developing and owning services in a HealthTech startup. Collaborating with a mature engineering team in Freiburg on modern web architectures.
Responsibilities
- You will join a mature, high-trust engineering team of 4 Fullstack Engineers.
- We don't just write code; we own our services end-to-end on Google Cloud Platform .
- We believe in "You build it, you run it," peer reviews, and collective architectural decisions.
- You will develop of our new Design System to ensure reusable components across our distributed frontends.
- You will help us evolve our backend (currently a mix of TypeScript & Go) and strengthen our Infrastructure as Code setup with Terraform on GCP.
- You will act as a technical sparring partner.
- You will take responsibility for your features—from the first line of code to the deployment pipeline (GitHub Actions) and monitoring.
- You will actively participate in architectural decisions.
Requirements
- You have several years of experience in Software Engineering and a deep understanding of modern web architectures.
- Tech Stack: You are proficient in either Vue.js/TypeScript or Go/GCP/Terraform . You don't need to be a master of everything on Day 1, but you must be willing to learn the rest.
- Language: You are fluent in English (Team language). German is a plus, but not required.
- Mindset: You fit into a team where "we" is more important than "I". You value clean code, maintainability, and honest feedback.
