Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, coordinating and managing IQS, VDS, and CR Improvement Activity to achieve Global Quality Index (GQ 3.3.5.5.) and QA Business Targets in an automotive manufacturing environment
Defines, develops and implements Quality index improvement plan, procedures, and assessments
Manage J.D. Power and Associates (JDPA) Initial Quality Study (IQS), Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), Consumer Report (CR) and Media Sources data
Coordinate and report IQS, VDS and CR -related internal and external activities with JDPA/External Institutes, HMMA, HMC, HMNA, HATCHI, and Suppliers
Ensure IQS, VDS, and CR data is analyzed accurately and reported within the specified time frames
Ensure Field Claim is analyzed quarterly to track Vehicle durability & reliability
Report of IQS, VDS, CR improvement oriented audit quality status of completed vehicles
Analyze customer/expert review sourced from media and benchmark competitors’ quality status
Follow-up Improvement Status and Validate countermeasures effectiveness of IQS, VDS, and CR impact issues
Create Quality Summary Reports as necessary to monitor process and progress
Coach and Lead Quality Index Team Member(s) in continuous improvement activities
Evaluate Specialists’ performance in accordance with company policies including adherence to time and attendance policies, performance metrics, etc.
Administers, coordinates, and complies with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements
Meets all other requirements as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent preferred
5 – 10 years of job related experience preferred
