Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools
Create design layouts, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing
Order, build, and evaluate prototype parts; document findings and implement improvements
Support on-site production activities, including pilot builds and first-run manufacturing
Troubleshoot design or production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them
Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and on-time completion
Participate in product reviews and provide engineering input that aligns with customer needs and performance requirements
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering
At least 3 years of industry experience in engineering, product development, or related fields
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or comparable)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drafting practices, and engineering analysis
Experience with prototype development, testing, and design validation
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly
Familiarity with vehicle, equipment, or automotive systems is a plus
Ability to create, interpret, and maintain engineering drawings and specifications
