About the role

  • Dialog and Engagement Analyst supporting social actions at Hydro’s Mining division. Fostering relationships with communities and stakeholders through various social engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • In this position, you will support the dialogue and social engagement activities of Mineração Paragominas, contributing to transparent and respectful relationships with communities and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out social engagement and dialogue activities with communities, associations, and stakeholders within the Social Responsibility area.
  • Participate in social listening sessions, field visits, community meetings, and institutional relationship activities, including support for corporate volunteer strategies.
  • Support social risk analyses, context assessment, and stakeholder mapping, organizing and recording information in the department's platforms.
  • Prepare and support the production of technical reports, photographic records, databases, and existing social indicators.
  • Support monitoring of social actions and initiatives, contributing to schedule control, record-keeping, and evidence collection.
  • Support the organization of forums, meetings, and community events, as well as compliance with social conditions and internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Anthropology, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in community relations, social projects, community initiatives, or similar activities is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with traditional communities (quilombola, indigenous, riverine, and rural communities) and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage conflicts, including sensitive situations.
  • Knowledge of ILO Convention 169, Interministerial Ordinance No. 60/2015, AFC principles, and human rights-related topics will be considered an advantage.
  • Organizational skills for recording information, preparing reports, and monitoring activities.
  • Category B driver's license (CNH) is considered an advantage; English is not required but will be considered a plus.
  • Availability to work in the field and travel as required by the role.
  • Willingness to reside in Paragominas, PA.
