About the role
- Lead Finance role at Humana focusing on strategy and portfolio management within finance. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial operations.
Responsibilities
- plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the Finance function’s strategic roadmap
- partners closely with Finance leadership, IT, Enterprise Data Governance, and other cross-functional teams
- advance key initiatives, ensure robust portfolio management, and foster continuous improvement across the Finance organization
- travel into the Humana's Louisville headquarters at least 1 time per month
- support the creation and refinement of the Finance target state and strategic roadmap in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- contribute to the development and implementation of prioritization frameworks
- analyzes the financial implications of proposed investments
- liaise with Finance, IT, Enterprise Data Governance, and other relevant teams
- monitor progress against established milestones and project budgets
- execute ad-hoc priorities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in portfolio management, strategy development, and project management within a Finance or corporate environment
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead and support cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives to completion
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective processes and training programs
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and process improvement methodologies
