About the role

  • Financial Controller managing monthly consolidation and acquisition accounting at Ideagen. Overseeing statutory reporting and driving finance transformation projects within a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly group consolidation and reporting cycle.
  • Lead financial integration for acquired businesses.
  • Apply technical accounting expertise to complex transactions.
  • Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors.
  • Strengthen governance and controls across the group.
  • Build strong relationships with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Drive finance transformation projects and system implementations.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification with solid post-qualified experience.
  • Proven track record in financial controller roles within complex, multinational businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with M&A integration accounting and IFRS 3.
  • Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work strategically while staying close to the detail.
  • Excellent communication skills – you can turn complex data into clear insights.
  • Comfortable working in Nottingham 3 days a week.
