About the role
- Advise regional leadership and manage legal risk
- Provide legal support for maritime, logistics, and terminal operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with EU and local laws
- Support corporate governance and legal entity management
- Manage external counsel, disputes, and regulatory investigations
- Lead legal projects and mentor junior lawyers
- Collaborate with business teams to align legal strategy with commercial goals
- Improve legal processes and deliver training initiatives
Requirements
- Qualified Italian lawyer with 8–10 years’ experience
- Background in maritime, logistics, or terminal operations
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of EU competition, sanctions, export control, and environmental laws
- Experience leading legal projects and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
- Experience with corporate governance and cross-border legal entity management
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset in an international, fast-paced environment
- Italian and English language proficiency are a must.
