About the role

• Principal Solutions Consultant developing compelling demos and ROI stories for AI-based spend management solutions. Engaging C-level stakeholders to convert prospects into long-term customers.

Responsibilities

• As a Principal Solutions Consultant you are at the heart of the deal cycle: you develop compelling live demos and ROI stories that make complex AI capabilities tangible for C-level decision-makers.
• You support the entire sales process with technical expertise, clear competitive differentiation and strategic advisory.
• You configure and present high-impact live demos that convince your audience.
• You assist with RFPs and the production of presentations, documentation and videos.
• You work closely with Sales, Product Marketing and Customer Success, providing market and customer feedback that helps shape the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in presales, consulting or implementing enterprise SaaS (e.g., in Finance, Procurement, Spend Management, Customer Management or Sales Automation).
• You excel at live demos and presentations — strong stage presence, clear storytelling skills and the ability to captivate and persuade any audience (from CxOs to IT leads).
• Experience with at least one business spend-management solution (e.g., eProcurement, eSourcing, invoice automation, contract management, expense management, payment automation or treasury management); experience across multiple domains is a plus.
• Sales-oriented mindset: you understand how to package technical complexity into compelling business stories and measurable ROI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, including professional slide design (PowerPoint/Google Slides).
• Hands-on experience with solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, Jaggaer, etc., is a clear advantage.
• You enjoy working autonomously, are hands-on and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• University degree or equivalent qualification.
