Lead strategic capture efforts for National Security Space programs at Blue Origin, working closely with U.S. Government and industry partners. Develop proposals, track programs, and represent the company in national security forums.
Responsibilities
Lead development and implementation of capture strategy and lead campaign teams for sales of Blue Origin products and services to U.S. Government (USG) acquisition programs, and creation of new opportunities, in coordination with company senior leadership across multiple business units.
Lead development and writing of comprehensive proposals, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and other presentations to customers.
Track USG programs of interest, including budget, Congressional actions, industry participation, and technical requirements.
Represent Blue Origin in national security forums.
Assess competitor capabilities and offerings to understand the competitiveness of our market position and offerings, in conjunction with the Strategy and Corporate Development teams.
Assist in developing Blue Origin positions on issues and communicating those positions to Congressional and USG agency offices.
Engage with current and prospective Government and industry customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
Collaborate with Blue Origin technical and program staff to translate complex technical matters into accessible information for broader audiences.
Think creatively about how Blue Origin’s Vision connects to and supports national security objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, and at least one degree in a technical field.
7+ years of proven experience on U.S. Government space-related activities and programs.
Excellent communicator, both oral and written, and demonstrated success communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, from peer to executive levels.
Able to represent Blue Origin at conferences, customer meetings, and other fora.
Government contracting experience, including knowledge of contract management, source selection processes, and proposal evaluations.
Experience developing and implementing capture management strategies for U.S. Government programs.
Excellent organizational skills for tracking customers, compiling proposals, and meeting deadlines.
Extraordinarily high judgment, energy, creativity, standards for yourself and others.
Active Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with polygraph.
