About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded firmware code for the fire panel subsystem meeting EN54 and customer requirements
- Maintain know how on applicable FIRE regulatory standards (EN54)
- Investigate complex customer issues as required and resolve them
- Troubleshooting the Hardware /Firmware issues as and when required
Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering with specialization in electronics or computer science.
- Extensive experience (minimum 10+ years) in embedded software design using C /C++ following coding standards
- Extensive experience in working with Operating Systems like Free RTOs, Linux environment
- Proven experience in working with communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, RS485, RS232)
- Proven experience in Hardware, Firmware integration and using debugging tools
- Proven experience working with software versioning tools like GitHub
- Proven experience in working with UML diagrams , Class sequence diagrams
- Excellent knowledge in working with various microcontroller platforms and developing firmware for EMI/EMC robust design
- Working knowledge and understanding of electrical , electronic interfaces with firmware
- Experience in Continuous Integration- DevSecOps, Software testing methods – Static and dynamic
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to travel worldwide ca. 20%
