About the role

• Senior SAP Inhouse Consultant focusing on FI/CO for home24 in a hybrid setup, benefiting from flexible work arrangements and modern technology.

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility for managing projects in the finance domain, including contract account management, general ledger, accounts payable and controlling.
• Full lifecycle handling of projects and change requests, including effort estimation, solution design, implementation, documentation, testing and go‑live support.
• Handling incidents, service requests and business unit inquiries, as well as proactive system monitoring and maintenance.
• Cross‑module collaboration within the SAP Competence Center and close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
• Subject‑matter consulting and support in designing and optimizing business processes in accounting, with a focus on Controlling.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with SAP, focusing on FI/CO processes and integration with SD/MM, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Experience with the SAP S/4HANA retail industry solution.
• Strong knowledge of financial and controlling business processes in an S/4HANA environment.
• Good skills in creating Controlling reports.
• Comprehensive understanding of SAP standard processes and their implementation (FI/CO), as well as cross‑functional knowledge of adjacent modules (e.g. SD, MM).
• Affinity for AI and use of AI skills to optimize consulting activities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or (Business) Informatics/Computer Science.
