Responsibilities
- Work in a cross-functional team and participate in the life cycle of a high-end web application
- Work closely with developers to help them ensure the high quality of the codebase
- Engage with the product team to identify business requirements and testing scenarios essential to delivering a great user experience
- Collaborate with the DevOps and release teams to help build pipelines and orchestrate testing environments
- Encounter a wide range of problems across various software stacks, programming languages, and knowledge domains
Requirements
- A proven track record of helping teams ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of software with QA automation and engineering
- A wide range of experiences and exposure to various testing methodologies and frameworks
- The ability to write code in JavaScript is essential
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Python, and/or Golang is a plus
- Good understanding of software architecture and development patterns, and willingness to engage with developers to help them build software that is easier to test
- Desire to explore AI-driven solutions to make testing accessible to a broader range of stakeholders
- Interest in web technologies, Web APIs, and WebGL
- Previous experience with web test runners and headless browsers is a plus
- Good understanding of security and performance on the web and beyond
- Previous experience in orchestrating load, performance, and security tests is a plus
- Previous experiences with observability and performance metrics are a plus
- Enough confidence and creativity to take a blank slate and build something on top of it with input from various stakeholders
- An eye for detail, a tad of perfectionism, a can-do mentality, and the courage to take on new challenges
