About the role

• Senior Consultant securing IT environments and addressing security breaches with a focus on proactive and reactive strategies. Engaging in projects related to Cloud Security and KRITIS.

Responsibilities

• Use your practical skills to secure clients' IT environments against unauthorized access and complex attacks — both remotely and on-site
• Combine proactive activities (design, hardening, and hands-on security assessments) with reactive tasks in incident response
• Keep an eye on overarching system and network architecture as well as technical configuration details to protect the customer environment
• Actively work on current topics such as Cloud Security and KRITIS (critical infrastructure) and help shape new projects
• Support projects from requirements analysis and planning through execution, including presenting results

Requirements

• Professional experience in IT (e.g., administration, development, networking, or IT coordination) and a curiosity to test current tools, technologies, and unconventional approaches
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple areas (e.g., how networks operate, operating system fundamentals, cloud, Active Directory, databases, web technologies)
• Enthusiasm for IT security and initial project experience (e.g., developing security concepts, hardening systems or network components, working as DevSecOps, or in security administration)
• Experience preparing technically complex topics in a clear and understandable way in reports and presentations in German
