About the role
- Senior Consultant in IT Forensik handling incidents on clients' IT infrastructures. Assisting with forensic analysis and digital evidence in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to manage attacks on our clients' IT infrastructure and contribute to forensic investigation, isolation, emergency operations and recovery
- Provide technical expertise in incident handling — remotely and on-site at client locations
- Investigate forensic questions; perform technical analyses to clarify the attack vector and provide clients with a clear overview
- Secure and analyze digital evidence admissible in court using up-to-date tools
- Specialize in areas such as operating system forensics, network forensics, cloud forensics, malware analysis, technical recovery planning and more
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of IT environments, IT security and attack chains
- Enjoy working with technology and analysing complex systems and situations
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., (business) computer science, security, engineering) or equivalent practical experience; certifications in IT forensics, penetration testing or auditing are a plus
- Determination to help affected organizations through cyber crises and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
