About the role
- Senior Consultant in IT-Notfallmanagement handling IT security consulting projects at a consulting firm. Leading incident response exercises and developing disaster recovery plans for clients.
Responsibilities
- Look forward to engaging and varied responsibilities.
- Lead project teams and conduct IT emergency exercises; support multiple clients in developing IT emergency frameworks, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies — both on-site and remotely.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our clients on security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Participate in real incident response deployments and assist our clients to ensure operational continuity.
- Contribute ideas and proposals on interface topics such as information security, third‑party risk management, and risk management to help further develop our consulting services.
Requirements
- University degree related to IT or an equivalent professional qualification in an IT area, e.g., administration, IT service, or data center operations.
- Experience applying ITSCM standards (e.g., ISO 27031) or related standards such as ISO 27001 or ITIL 4, and several years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in project leadership and a passion for knowledge transfer/training.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German.
