About the role
- Consultant IT Infrastruktur / Linux ensuring smooth operations of Linux-based infrastructure. Setting up networks, server services, and storage systems while supporting IT security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of Linux-based infrastructure
- Configure and maintain networks, server services, and storage systems
- Implement security measures and manage patching
- Drive automation of operational processes using Infrastructure as Code, e.g., with Ansible or shell scripts
- Support our customers during IT security incidents with technical expertise, e.g., log analysis, system isolation, or system restarts
Requirements
- Professional experience in system integration or Linux administration – motivation is key
- Basic knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and containerization
- Team player, especially when collaborating with other technical roles
- Careful and pragmatic approach in emergency situations
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
