About the role

• Consultant in IT emergency management focusing on securing business processes against failures and attacks. Join a passionate team in security consulting based in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• We support our clients in meeting requirements, laws and standards, with a focus on practical, tailored solutions.
• Learn to identify vulnerabilities and help clients increase security with IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies — on-site and remotely.
• Participate in security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
• Support our clients in ensuring their operational capability.
• Raise clients' awareness of emergencies through awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, and switchover and functional tests.
• Explore related areas such as information security and 3rd Party Risk Management.

Requirements

• Practical experience in system integration, e.g., administration of data centers or in IT service at a system integrator; alternatively, a degree in an IT field such as (business) informatics, Cyber Security Management, or similar.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations, plus initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL-aligned operational processes.
• Drive to dive into complex subject areas, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and a confident presence.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in German.
