About the role
- Embedded Linux Development Engineer at Hirsch France working on security solutions in a collaborative team. Focusing on innovation and optimization within the R&D department in Aix en Provence.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve and maintain our range of solutions in access control, intrusion detection and building management systems (BMS)
- Ensure product security and performance by integrating the latest technological advances and industry best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of our product simulator to guarantee reliability and compatibility with new features
- Write unit tests and actively contribute to the validation of embedded systems
- Analyze and diagnose potential malfunctions, proposing corrective and improvement solutions
- Integrate AI into our working methods as well as into our products
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate required features and meet customer requirements while anticipating future market developments
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Technical skills: C/C++, Embedded Linux, system builds with Buildroot
- Strong awareness of architecture, cybersecurity and performance
- Experience with Jira
- Rigour and methodological approach
- Analytical and synthesis skills
