Responsibilities
- As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer at HiQ, you will advance our cloud service portfolio with your extensive experience.
- In this central role, you will lead the design and implementation of modern cloud solutions and ensure seamless integration and optimization in our client projects — from lift-and-shift migrations to the operation of global microservice landscapes.
- Together with your team, you implement diverse client requirements in the cloud environment, always prioritizing efficiency and security.
- Using your technical expertise, you support our sales team in the acquisition process for new projects.
- As a leading expert in cloud technologies, you act as the technical point of contact for clients and ensure optimal project quality.
- You evaluate improvement proposals and optimization potential for the applications you manage, including stability, security, efficiency, and degree of automation.
- You share your experience and knowledge with both colleagues and clients.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field or equivalent qualification
- At least five years of experience in IT infrastructure and in designing and developing cloud-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of current cloud technologies (CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Relevant professional/expert cloud certifications are a plus
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with international clients
- Team player mentality, self-responsibility, and solution-oriented thinking
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
