About the role
- DevSecOps Engineer modernizing multi-cloud environments for Leidos. Collaborating across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds to support mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Developing in scalable cloud-native solutions, ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security.
- Designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.
- Assisting with the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deploying, configuring, and supporting applications in cloud environments.
- Supporting availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
- Helping maintain virtualized and hybrid cloud environments to meet performance and security requirements.
- Implementing and supporting automated security tools for vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, and container security.
Requirements
- Bachelors and eight (8) years or more of experience; Masters and six (6) years or more of experience.
- Secret clearance required to start
- US citizenship required
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience supporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).
- Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
