About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategy proposals for the B2B retail channel, considering product prioritization, pricing, definition of promotional and incentive campaigns, and point-of-sale actions, ensuring alignment with the company’s multichannel strategy.
  • Propose and validate commercial policies for the retail sales channel.
  • Prepare commercial performance analyses (sell-in, sell-out, margin, inventory, among others), identify opportunities for high- and low-performing products, and generate management reports.
  • Support the construction of the commercial plan, including sales forecasting, target setting and result projections.
  • Participate in assortment and pricing definition (category management and product mix), based on market analyses, consumer profile and company objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), shelf share, stockouts, participation in promotional activities, and propose corrective actions to optimize results.
  • Support the development of the commercial calendar, considering seasonality, promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Conduct feasibility and profitability analyses for campaigns and commercial activities.
  • Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of dashboards and tracking tools.
  • Promote integration among Sales, Marketing, Product and Supply Chain to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Track market trends, retail benchmarks, consumer behavior and competitor data and practices.
  • Support the commercial team with product and campaign training and information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in commercial planning cycles.
  • Structure and optimize processes for commercial planning and execution for the physical (brick-and-mortar) channel.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel and/or Power BI (data manipulation, report and dashboard creation).
  • Strong analytical skills and command of commercial KPIs.
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems is desirable.
  • Analytical thinking with commercial/business acumen.
  • Organized and results-oriented.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and ability to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in retail or consumer goods companies.
  • Experience participating in store openings or operations, franchises or company-owned units.
  • Knowledge of planning methodologies such as S&OP.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and omnichannel processes.
  • Understanding of retail KPI logic and analytics.
  • Previous experience in commercial planning or sales, market intelligence, trade marketing, controllership or related areas.
