About the role
- Engineering Systems Specialist providing operational support for engineering applications and integrations at Coperion. Ensuring stable operation of CAD, PLM, PDM and CAE tools with global IT standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level support for engineering applications (SolidWorks, COMOS, ECTR and related tools)
- Diagnose and resolve incidents across integrated engineering systems
- Support and monitor integrations between engineering systems and ERP platforms
- Perform routine system checks, configuration changes, updates and patches
- Manage licensing, user access and permissions
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base content
- Deliver user training and onboarding for engineering tools
- Support upgrade projects and vendor coordination
- Provide backup support for other regions as part of global coverage
Requirements
- Experience supporting engineering, CAD or PLM systems in an enterprise environment
- Practical understanding of integrated application landscapes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (required)
- German language skills are an advantage, but not required.
