About the role

  • Construction Integration Manager managing operational project aspects for the Virginia Class Submarine program at HII. Ensuring timely turnover of ship systems and aligning construction and testing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as a liaison between program management and planning, project team, line management, test organizations, and the customer.
  • Review status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions that meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms to monitor project progress and intervene and solve problems with project managers, line managers, and customers.

Requirements

  • Eight (8) years relevant progressive experience with a bachelor’s in engineering or related field;
  • Six (6) years relevant progressive experience with a Masters in related field.
  • Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
  • Four (4) years of project management experience.
  • Active-duty US Navy submarine operational and/or shipyard experience including Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plant qualifications and experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of propulsion and non-propulsions submarine systems operation and intersystem interaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess an active secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
