About the role
- Senior Manager responsible for ISP network design at BT Group, leading a team to achieve strategic goals and ensuring compliance across platforms. Collaborates with stakeholders to enhance broadband services and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Shape ISP Networks Design Team’s strategy to enable the achievement of the ISP tribe goals.
- Leadership of ISP Networks Design Team; developing skills and capabilities through inspiring communication, goal setting, mentoring, coaching, knowledge sharing and performance management to support business and personal objectives to create a high performance culture.
- Develop close and effective relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers and colleagues at a senior level, and be able to confidently present information, facilitate negotiations, and provide thought leadership to them.
- Drive transformation of the technology platform and operating model through the adoption of agile methodologies and automated capabilities.
- Forecast supply and demand of resource requirements based on known and unknown business needs.
- Drive development of complex network capabilities to create innovative broadband products.
- Accountable for security and compliance of platforms and services within ISP Networks.
Requirements
- People management and leadership.
- Proven ability to motivate, inspire and lead teams in a complex environment and through periods of change.
- Expertise in design of IP and Broadband networks.
- Understanding of drivers and measurement of customer experience; experience in driving improvement in customer experience.
- Experience in managing agile product development.
- Commercial savviness; budgeting, demand management, vendor management and negotiation.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the team at all levels of the organisation, including those with different priorities from your own.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence others at all levels and functions within the business to agree solutions which maximise value for BT Group.
- Ability to lead remote teams and collaborate with remote stakeholders in a highly effective manner.
