About the role

  • Assistant Director of Nursing overseeing nursing activities at Hickory Treatment Center. Ensuring quality care and compliance with regulations while assisting the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  • Aid in maintaining operations of the Nursing Service Department.
  • Ensure high-quality client care in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Scheduling COVID testing and vaccinations;
  • Maintain medical records and assist with requests.
  • Maintain medical supplies and stock medications monthly.
  • Maintain and adjust nursing schedule; assist with client schedules.
  • Monitor client infection control and administer immunizations.
  • Provide on-call coverage and assist with lab ordering and critical reporting.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school for professional nurses and licensed in good standing in the state where work will be performed.
  • Valid RN or LPN license
  • At least one year of supervision experience in the nursing field.
  • Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check.
  • Satisfactory personal & professional references.
  • Possess & maintain current CPR certification or acquire CPR certification within 90 days of date of hire.
