About the role

  • Engineer in energy technology for decentralized energy supply solutions at HGC Hamburg Gas Consult GmbH. Involves project planning, construction supervision, and coordination of energy systems.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of projects for decentralized energy supply solutions for commercial and industrial clients as well as district energy supplies
  • Use of boiler systems, CHP units (combined heat and power), refrigeration systems, heat recovery, heat pumps, ORC systems (Organic Rankine Cycle), steam supply, pellet and wood-fired systems, photovoltaics, solar thermal systems
  • Execution and permitting (approval) planning
  • Preparation of cost estimates and specifications (bills of quantities)
  • Construction/site supervision
  • Commissioning management

Requirements

  • You have a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply/Building Services Engineering or a comparable field
  • You are flexible, helpful, communicative and a good team player
  • You work independently and take initiative
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in German
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
  • Valid driving license (car)
