About the role

  • Head of Technical Sales & Project Management leading team to develop solutions for clients. Overarching responsibility from proposal creation to project execution and monitoring market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & development: You lead the Technical Sales & Project Management area and foster the professional and personal development of your team
  • Customer focus: You identify customer needs and, together with your team, develop tailored, implementable solutions – both domestically and internationally
  • Project responsibility: You and your team take responsibility for complex customer projects – from proposal preparation to successful commissioning
  • Interface management: You work closely with development, production, quality assurance and other departments
  • Strategic alignment: You align your area strategically so that you and your team make a significant contribution to the company’s success
  • Process optimization: You analyze existing workflows and implement targeted measures to increase efficiency
  • Team leadership: You promote open communication, support your team in day-to-day operations and keep strategic objectives in view
  • Market monitoring: You keep track of technical trends and market developments and introduce new initiatives

Requirements

  • Technical background: You hold a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience: You bring several years of experience in technical sales or project management, ideally in international plant or machine engineering within the beverage or food industry
  • Leadership experience: You are an experienced leader and know how to manage and motivate large, interdisciplinary teams
  • Technical understanding: You think in a structured way, understand complex relationships and can communicate technical content convincingly
  • Communication skills: You present yourself confidently, can inspire customers and moderate cross-functionally within the company
  • Strategic thinking: You work solution-oriented, think entrepreneurially and keep objectives in sight
  • Team spirit: You promote collaboration and motivate others to find solutions together
  • Languages: You have very good German and English skills; additional languages are a plus
