About the role
- Business Intelligence Analyst developing and maintaining Power BI solutions for commercial support at Hesselbach Company. Responsible for data organization, dashboards, and performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for structuring, developing and maintaining analytical solutions in Power BI to support the commercial area
- Will focus on data organization, dashboard creation, performance indicators, access management and usability
- Development of interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, focused on commercial metrics (sales, targets, performance, forecast, etc.)
- Creation and standardization of layouts and views, emphasizing aesthetics, clarity and usability of delivered solutions
- Requirements analysis with business areas to gather needs and define KPIs
- Connection to different data sources, ensuring data integrity, consistency and timely updates
- Management of profiles and access within Power BI (data security, row-level security, user permissions and area-based access)
- Support to the commercial backoffice team with ad-hoc analyses, specific extracts and user support for the tool
- Data validation and assurance of the quality of information published on dashboards
- Documentation of developed solutions and creation of user guides for end users
- Creative exploration of the tool’s capabilities, proposing new visualizations and analysis methods based on BI best practices
- Collaborative work with IT and other support areas to ensure integration of systems and relevant data
Requirements
- Solid experience developing solutions in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, visualizations)
- Knowledge of data security strategies and user management within the Power BI environment
- Familiarity with commercial data structures, such as sales funnel, targets, CRM, average ticket, conversion, churn, etc.
- Knowledge of Excel, SQL and data integration tools is a plus
- Analytical ability, critical thinking, proactivity and creativity in developing effective visual solutions
