Responsibilities

  • Tackle real-world challenges in digital media, audience growth, and storytelling at scale.
  • Work cross-functionally with newsrooms, marketing, and audience teams.
  • Help business understand audience development drives outcomes.
  • Translate business questions into data problems.
  • Build ad-hoc reports and dashboards, conducting exploratory analysis, and modeling data.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in math, engineering, statistics, econometrics, data science or related quantitative field
  • Prior experience or internship with data analysis (as an analyst, in analytics, business intelligence or similar)
  • Familiarity with SQL (BigQuery preferred)
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication, especially when presenting to non-technical stakeholders
