About the role
- Resident Engineer providing technical support and customer solutions for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Delivering high customer satisfaction through reactive and proactive support activities in large-scale IP networks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reactive and proactive activities according to Service Level Agreement
- Provide direct post-sales systems on-site technical support for reactive and proactive customers
- Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and ensure clear alignment of solutions
- Conduct network information gathering workshops and understand customer network design
- Test new designs and help develop plans to implement in the live network
- Troubleshoot equipment and network problems and track cases to resolve issues
- Produce written summary reports of project statuses and technology workshops
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of design, implementation, and operational experience in large-scale IP networks
- JUNOS CLI experience
- Large-scale experience with QFX, EX, PTX switching and routing
- Experience at a large enterprise or Data Center with EVPN/VXLAN experience
- Experience with core routing BGP (eBGP and iBGP) and OSPF protocols
- Mist Wireless assurance experience
- Experience with Juniper EZ-LAG
- Background in automation with Ansible, YAML, and Juniper PyEZ
- Experience writing automation scripts in Python
- Strong customer interface and presentation skills
- Expert-level Technical Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, and CCIE a strong plus.
