About the role
- Component Engineer responsible for semiconductor technology engineering for CommIC products at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Collaborating on design, testing, and quality assurance from NPI to end of life.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for semiconductor technology component engineering for CommIC products family.
- Define and review CommIC product test coverage at NPI and sustaining phases.
- Drive CommIC technical ecosystem and stakeholders on testing optimization.
- Responsible for quality issues of CommIC products and corrective actions.
- Partner to develop commodity strategy, supplier selection, and perform supplier technical audits.
- Work with Supplier Quality Engineering team on component quality metrics.
Requirements
- MSEE or equivalent plus 5+ years semiconductor development, component and/or manufacturing experience
- 4+ years of applicable CommIC design, testing and/or engineering experience
- Extensive semiconductor device physics, fabrication process, and design knowledge
- Experience with Linux or FreeBSD platforms
- Ability to communicate in both oral and written English on complex technical issues.
