About the role

  • Warehouse First Line Manager overseeing warehouse operations and team activities at GXO, a leading supply chain solutions provider.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with working practices for a clean and safe workplace
  • Focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality
  • Help to lead the operational shift team to achieve daily targets
  • Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and budget.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes
  • Health and safety experience
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative while effectively leading a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
