Senior Transformation Manager at DigitalService GmbH facilitating collaboration between agile teams and the federal administration in Germany. Focusing on effective service creation for citizens through transformation processes.
Responsibilities
Project and stakeholder management: As part of an interdisciplinary project team, you support the development of digital products with the federal administration. You take on project leadership responsibilities such as advising and guiding external stakeholders, defining project strategy and development, as well as prioritization and escalations.
Transformation & Change: With tact, openness, and an understanding of the needs of our project partners in ministries, you build trusting and resilient relationships and shape the transformation process using appropriate methods.
Strategy & Structure: You actively influence collaboration and the strategic (further) development of the partnership and support initiatives in contexts with cross-cutting topics, e.g., cross-ministerial and cross-level working groups or standardization efforts.
Learning & Networking: You transfer knowledge and foster understanding between the project team, project partners, and downstream stakeholders, gather insights, and make them usable for future collaboration — beyond the immediate project setup.
Requirements
Agile mindset & passion for transformation: You enjoy dealing with unpredictability and resistance, see complexity as an opportunity, and bring extensive experience in guiding and shaping change processes in complex environments.
User-centered product development & digital expertise: You have experience with user-centered product development (iterative, data-driven), e.g., from digital product management, and ideally also (IT) project management.
Public administration know-how: Ideally you have experience with public-sector projects and the stakeholder landscape in public administration. With openness and strong communication and collaboration skills, you can convince stakeholders from caseworkers to state secretaries.
Methods & tools: You bring a diverse toolbox of change and transformation methods and are confident in designing and facilitating workshops and learning formats.
Consulting skills & gravitas: You engage with our project partners as equals and build trusting relationships. You proactively drive topics and decisions forward and are able to persuade and enable solutions even in difficult situations.
Strong German (C1) and English skills, as both languages are used in our everyday work.
