About the role
- Digital Distribution Analyst supporting API portfolio at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies. Work with partners to ensure effective API integration and troubleshoot issues for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with the digital distribution team to support our API portfolio
- Ensure APIs meet business needs and are effectively integrated into partner systems
- Understand requirements, onboard partners, document processes and specifications
- Troubleshoot issues related to API functionality and performance
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that align with business goals
- Collaborate with API integrated trading partners to implement and optimize integrations
- Perform integration testing and troubleshoot issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Create and maintain business documentation for APIs including process documentation and troubleshooting guides
- Analyze available data to identify areas of opportunity and performance gaps
- Provide business focused technical support to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong background in API integrations and implementations
- Experience in the commercial insurance industry a plus
- Excellent technical skills, including knowledge and experience working with a variety of computer programs
- High degree of attention to detail
- Genuine interest in understanding complex problems
- Ability to break down problems into manageable components
- Analyze data and draw logical conclusions
- Generate creative solutions
