Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, and preparation of consolidated reporting under IFRS
Maintenance of records required for tax purposes
Participation in balance sheet strategy, taking commercial and tax law requirements into account
Support in preparing the annual corporate (management) report
Collaboration with and technical support for the sub-ledger
Point of contact for auditors, tax auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
Completed commercial or tax specialist vocational training (possibly with further qualifications), or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
Relevant professional experience in (general) accounting or ideally in a comparable position
Good knowledge of accounting under HGB (IFRS desirable)
Good English skills (minimum B1 level)
Experience with SAP is an advantage but not a requirement
Excellent analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
High degree of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
