- Design and evolve scalable, secure, high-performance data architectures
- Build and optimize pipelines, ETLs/ELTs, data lakes, data warehouses (DWHs), and analytical solutions
- Define standards, best practices, and guidelines to raise the technical bar of the team
- Act as the squad's primary technical reference: mentor, review, unblock, and resolve complex problems
- Translate business challenges into data solutions that deliver value, not just dashboards
- Serve as the bridge between tech and business, ensuring clarity, alignment, and smart prioritization
- Support planning of timelines, deliveries, and the strategic roadmap
- Lead PoCs, evaluate new technologies, and drive continuous evolution of our data environment
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL, Python, orchestration (Airflow, dbt), modeling, data lakes/DWHs, APIs, CI/CD, and Git
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency in governance, versioning, and security best practices
- Ability to lead technically, raise standards, and build scalable solutions
- Clear communication, strategic vision, and the ability to connect technology, people, and outcomes
