About the role

  • Floating and Litigation Legal Secretaries providing administrative support to attorneys at a national law firm. Requires strong organizational skills and experience in legal procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys.
  • Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery.
  • Manage case management, docketing, document review, and exhibit preparation.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Familiar with the State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures.
  • Experience filing and serving in California and out-of-state courts, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Familiarity with Court of Appeals procedures is preferred but not required.
  • Provides administrative support to attorneys.
  • Works independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery.
  • Knowledge of case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience using Milana calendaring program is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, independent self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment.
