About the role

  • Define product vision and roadmap by collaborating with client stakeholders
  • Guide client stakeholders in achieving business goals
  • Lead requirements gathering and define requirements towards product vision
  • Create a product backlog that documents requirements in epics and user stories
  • Lead an agile team consisting of software engineers, experience designers and quality assurance engineers
  • Prioritize product feature backlog based on importance
  • Lead the planning of incremental product releases and set expectations for delivery
  • Deliver products that provide measurable results towards business goals
  • Communicate product status and raise issues as needed
  • Participate in gravity9’s Project Management Training Programme
  • Apply Project Management skills to manage smaller initiatives

Requirements

  • At least five years’ experience
  • Ability to take a vision and break it down into smaller bodies of work
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Agile process and principles
  • Software product delivery OR software engineering background
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate different types of environments
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Degree in computer science or another STEM subject is preferred, either at MSc or BSc level, but alternative education paths will be considered
